Building my portfolio and taking names..

I wake up in the morning and I just itch to write some days. Today is one of those days. I was able to shoot out a 600 word article related to Event planning and promotion as well as a fun article about the 10 most annoying people on Facebook.

So far my feedback has been phenomenal and it just drives me to want to work more. Check out what today’s review said from the client who wanted the event planning article:

“Top-notch communication and writing skills. Well-crafted, focused content plus super quick delivery. Loved how you wove the marketing bit into that article. Total pro. Couldn’t ask for more!”

That’s right, peeps. I’m officially a pro. Contact me at if you’d like some writing done too!

The Carefree World of Writing at Will

If you’re like me, you value freedom of creativity over structure and confinement. Writing is an art form that allows me to express myself and get paid to do it. The best part? I can do it in my own home, with my TV or music on, my feet up and my cat lying in my lap.

When I first chose writing as a career path, I didn’t even realize I was doing it. A friend of mine owns an advertising agency and while he was stuck behind a desk and overwhelmed, he would farm out his extra content work to moi! I would quickly research the topics he sent me, bust out a half page or so article and BAM – I made 20 bucks. I then started to think about how I could take it a step further without being buckled down with a 9-5 obligation, and that’s when I discovered writing at will.

Whether its getting paid to blog, writing web content, product descriptions or even humor, its a dream job and someone has to do it.

Thank you for reading my first blog on my very first personal website. I hope to see you come back for more.

Until next time,
